Some of points to remember.
Semicolons help with run on sentences.
Semicolons help us to tell a little more when we have already finished a thought; but want to say something else about that same topic.
example:  pg 161 in Anthology
            "We had a big house; it was very comfortable."

In class:  skim for sentences using semicolons.
