B)  Are you a follower or leader at school and why?
C)  What would you like to discover?

Focus Discussion:
What do you think of when you hear Hollywood?
   movies       white people       success       luxuries
   money        actors                 celebrity      bright lights

We continue to study and practice reading strategies, specifically skimming.

We use:  the title, the text (words), pictures (maps, photos, diagrams, tables, graphs), captions

also practicing this technique:
~read the 1st paragraph (introduction)
~read the first and last sentence of each paragraph
~read the final paragraph (conclusion)

Grammar Connection:
What does the colon (:) do?
*lets us know that additional information, facts, or a list will follow
*is used after the greeting in a formal letter 
*seperates hours from minutes (8:45 am)
